Teesside Bytes is led by Duncan Skilton, a software developer and computing lecturer with experience in Java development, databases and teaching programming. Duncan is also undertaking an MSc in Applied AI.

The focus is simple: understand the problem, explain the options clearly, and build something that genuinely helps.

Our work spans practical software development, process automation, education and research. We value clear explanations, good engineering practice and keeping solutions proportionate to the problem.
